FINLAYS’ APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILITY

The natural beverages industry faces existential challenges. Climate change, supply chain complexity, and human rights issues have become urgent and defining global themes – both for our industry and for consumers. As these issues intensify, it’s vital we take action today for the beverages of tomorrow.

For Finlays, Sustainability isn’t just about doing the right thing; it’s about creating value for stakeholders right across the supply chain. By collaborating to address the issues of climate change, supply chain complexity, and human rights and empowerment, we can transform challenges into opportunities. We can improve lives. We can make better beverages. And we can protect the long-term prosperity of our industry.

SUSTAINABLE FUTURE 2030 – FINLAYS’ SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY

Sustainable Future 2030 is all about “taking action today for the beverages of tomorrow”. It focuses on three core areas of Climate Net Zero, Sustainable Supply and Our People.

SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATION STANDARDS

Sustainable certifications are provided by independent organisations whose aim is to uphold and improve minimum standards of environmental and social sustainability. The certifications we hold across our business provide assurances that our products and solutions are meeting the minimum standards outlined in the certification process at each point in the supply chain. Certification is a key way to provide consumers with reassurance in the sourcing of products through certification seals that they recognise and trust.

Across different parts of our global business we offer tea, coffee and botanical products and solutions with a range of certifications including Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, Organic, Kosher and Halal. Get in touch to find out more
