Green tea is made using the Camellia sinensis plant but differs from black tea in its method of production. During the processing of green tea, the leaf is prevented from oxidising, thereby retaining its green appearance. Finlays offers a wide variety of green teas from our own farms (as single estate teas or blends), as well as sourcing Sencha from China and Matcha from Japan.

Among the original blends of green teas we supply from our own farms are:
- Sencha teas – Chinese Sencha teas are steamed before drying to enhance the concentration of vitamins and anti-oxidants, while producing crisp flavours
- Matcha – linked to a variety of health benefits, our Japanese Matcha is available as a fine bright green powder producing one of the most distinctive green tea flavours
