Steve Scott is the General Manager of Finlay Botanicals in Kenya, a subsidiary business of James Finlays Kenya Ltd.
Steve joined Finlays in 2014. Prior to joining the company he ran his own consultancy business in the horticultural industry, helping to salvage struggling horticultural businesses, developing flower farms in Kenya from green field sites and trading flowers across the world.
Steve has been in the horticultural business his whole working life. He was educated in the United Kingdom, at Sedbergh School in Cumbria to begin with and then at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne where he studied Environmental Engineering.
Steve is a British citizen but was born in Nairobi. He is fluent in Swahili and also holds a current private pilot’s licence.
