Simeon is the Managing Director of James Finlay (Kenya) Limited (JFK), a wholly owned subsidiary of James Finlay Limited. Established in the 1930s, JFK owns 10,500 hectares of land to the West of South West Mau forest, in Kericho and Bomet Districts of Western Kenya, and produces tea and tea extracts, cut flowers, and forestry products. JFK employs approximately 13,000 people.
Simeon joined JFK in August 2008 after a career spanning 20 years with one of Kenya’s leading tea producers. During his time in the tea sector, Simeon has been exposed to all of the different facets of production and marketing of tea. He was Chairman of the Nandi branch of Kenya Tea Growers Association in 2001/02 and between 2009 and 2011 he served as a Director at the Tea Board of Kenya.
Simeon holds a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Reading.
