Dudutech has transformed crop protection in Africa and employs over 200 scientists and production staff whose responsibility it is to search out indigenous pests, evaluate those that can be used to control pest and disease and develop these into products that can be used through Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

Having the products is half the battle and IPM requires a commitment to farm in a different way. Each farm has a number of highly trained personnel whose responsibility it is to search out pests, evaluate how best to apply Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and then recommend and apply the appropriate treatment.

We have been able to reduce significantly the amount of chemicals sprayed on to crops, managing to eliminate all the most toxic chemicals.
